Free hand exercise and sports help in developing our muscles, bones, tissues etc. whereas Yoga Asanas normalize the secretion of the hormones from the endocrine glands and sub glands and thereby balance the emotions. When one becomes emotionally imbalance, it also affects ones physical health. Hence Sports and Yoga Asana both are essential for balanced physical and mental growth. Sports also develop the spirit of teamwork and synergism.
Therefore we at Ananda Samvrddhi Vidya Piitha give equal emphasis to Yoga Asana and sports, rather we also give due importance to meditation as well for the spiritual wellbeing . Meditation also helps in concentration, which is greatly needed for the students.
